This role will require the applicant to:

• Identify talent

Through scouting, coaching programs and contacts, the applicant will recognise young individuals with exceptional potential, recruit them to the squads and progress their level of skills and experiences, including arranging entries into sporting competitions to recruit young talent.

• Nurture young talent

This role will require the applicant to oversee players success, creating tailored and relevant fitness and sports programs and technical coaching sessions. They will plan and direct skills training and game strategies, noting and feeding back on areas of improvement. They will work closely with other officials, such as local councils, sports clubs, teachers, and other coaches or sports administrators.

• Building long-term partnerships

The applicant will also connect with local communities, sports organisations and schools to build partnerships. 

Please note the role is being offered at $78,000 base salary plus superannuation.
