Description

Gymnastics Australia is seeking a National Integrity Manager to help ensure our sport remains safe, fair, inclusive and trusted by members and the wider community.

This role plays an important part in creating positive gymnastics environments by supporting strong safeguarding, integrity and complaints processes. By providing clear guidance, consistent practices and trusted support, the National Integrity Manager helps clubs, volunteers, coaches, athletes and families engage in gymnastics with confidence and peace of mind.

About the role

The National Integrity Manager sits within Gymnastics Australia’s National Integrity Unit and reports to the Head of Complaints and Investigations.

The role supports the management of integrity-related complaints and investigations under the National Integrity Framework and Gymnastics Australia policies, working closely with clubs, State and Territory Associations and national partners to embed consistent, best-practice integrity approaches across the sport.

This position is funded by the Australian Sports Commission and Sport Integrity Australia and forms part of a national network of National Integrity Managers across Australian sport, supporting alignment, consistency and shared learning at a whole-of-sport level.

What you’ll do

  • Support the management of complaints and investigations in line with GA policies
  • Provide advice and guidance to members and State and Territory Associations
  • Help deliver and continuously improve GA’s integrity and safeguarding frameworks
  • Support the operation of GA’s complaints and case management systems
  • Oversee integrity screening processes for GA appointments, events and tours
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across the gymnastics community
  • Contribute to reporting, quality assurance and continuous improvement

You are trustworthy, disciplined and reliable, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and integrity in sport. You bring sound judgement, professionalism and empathy to sensitive matters and value fairness, transparency and service excellence.

You will bring:

  • A strong commitment to child safety and member protection
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in sport, governance, law, investigations or a related field
  • Experience supporting complaints or integrity processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and sound judgement
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Check

Essential Requirements

  • National Police / Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Passion and unwavering commitment to best practice safeguarding and integrity management in sport
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in sport management, law, law enforcement or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in the Australian sport sector, particularly in the provision of advice in areas including member protection, child safeguarding, dispute resolution and disciplinary procedures
  • Strong understanding of risk management practice in complaint management and ability to shift priorities to meet the needs of the organisation
