We’re now looking for a National Integrity Manager to embed the National Integrity Framework and other National Sporting Organisation Policies into all levels of the sport to ensure participants are participating in a safe, clean, inclusive and fair sport.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the National Integrity Manager is responsible for embedding the National Integrity Framework and related policies across all levels of softball. The role provides expert advice on integrity matters, manages complaints and safeguarding processes, and delivers integrity education to staff, volunteers and athletes including National Women’s and Men’s teams.
This role works closely with Sport Integrity Australia and the National Integrity Manager Network and requires a high level of maturity, sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive matters independently and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the National Integrity Framework across the sport
- Deliver integrity education and training programs
- Manage complaints in line with relevant policies and legislation
- Provide advice and guidance to Member States and Territories on integrity issues
- Redevelop and maintain best practice complaint management systems
- Manage working with children compliance processes
- Ensure reporting of suspected child abuse or misconduct to relevant authorities
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Sport Integrity Australia
About you:
You are an experienced integrity professional with a strong understanding of the Australian sport system. You are calm under pressure, highly organised and confident navigating complex and sensitive matters with fairness and professionalism.
You will bring:
- Experience in the Australian sport sector, particularly in integrity, safeguarding, member protection, anti-doping or governance
- Proven ability to assess and manage reports of unacceptable behaviour in a fair and impartial manner
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with an approachable manner
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence positive change
- High standards of confidentiality, record-keeping and problem-solving
- Experience developing, implementing or evaluating organisational policies
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in sport management, law, governance or a related field
- A Working with Children Check and National Police Check are required or willingness to obtain.
