Champion Data is now seeking highly motivated people to join our casual Venue IT Operations team in Queensland, South Australia & New South Wales.
The Venue IT Operations role will be responsible for providing at ground technical and operational support for the delivery of all Champion Data related match day services, primarily for Australian Rules Football and Super Netball.
Key Responsibilities
IT Administration and Operations
- Support Champion Data hardware / software solutions. This includes (where applicable):
- AFL Interchange Officials Application / Team Selection Application
- AFL Athlete Tracking
- AFL Statistical Capture
- Club Application support
- Netball Statistical Capture
- Venue Clock feed delivery support
- Communicate with Match Officials, Venue Staff and Club staff to resolve issues or inquiries
- Liaise with Champion Data bunker staff regularly
- Be the primary point of contact for Champion Data clients at ground (i.e. AFL / media / clubs)
- Complete and submit a shift summary report on time with appropriate level of detail
- Adherence to all procedures and processes related to the role
Shift Requirements
- Regular availability for AFL and Netball matches across weeknights and weekends
- Be available for a least one match per week as rostered, including Friday night time slots starting at 4:50PM
- Minimum of 4 week notice for unavailability
- Attendance at all pre-season briefings/training
- Adherence to Champion Data uniform policy
About You
- Experience in IT troubleshooting and technical support preferred
- General software, hardware and basic networking skills, including iOS devices
- Strong communication skills with internal and external partners
- Punctuality and strong presentation skills – you will be the face of Champion Data onsite
- Ability to troubleshoot, find solutions and know when to escalate issues
- Interest and knowledge of AFL and netball sports and the rules around them
