Champion Data is now seeking a highly motivated person to join our casual netball match day at-venue data collection team in South Australia - Adelaide.

Adelaide - Venue is normally the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

There are two positions available across the 2026 Suncorp Super Netball Season (and Internationals if required) which is outlined below:

• LIVE CAPTURE – Records all the statistics using a laptop and Champion Data purpose-built software, that occur throughout the entirety of a netball match by sitting courtside on the official score bench and listening to the Caller. You will work in conjunction with the Caller and Official Score bench to ensure all statistics and the score is always correct and matches the official score which is captured via the Tissot Clock. At venue, work in conjunction with all bench officials to ensure all substitutions are captured correctly. Also, work closely with the off-site Live QA Reviewer to ensure all statistics are accurately recorded. You will also require to setup on match day in conjunction with Champion Data and Netball Australia’s venue operations and Champion Data’s caller.
• LIVE QA REVIEW – Live review all the statistics captured during a Netball match using a purpose-built review system and by watching the vision and referencing it against the stats captured in the capture software system. Identify any changes that are required and communicate with the at-venue staff to ensure the accuracy of captured data. Live Reviewing occurs off-site either in a centralised bunker or at home. A live reviewer must have thorough knowledge of the netball capture process and access to the internet and Fox Sports/Kayo.

Employees are retained across seasons therefore successful applicants can continue with the company for future years without reapplying.

About You

• Availability during the Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) season between March - July on Saturday and Sunday.
• Approximately 4 games during the season.
• A thorough knowledge of the rules of netball (essential)
• A proven record in accountability, reliability, and punctuality
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Familiarity with Windows environments
• Capable under pressure
• Roster commitment - reliability and punctuality (arrive at venue/bunker according to shift start time)
• Work on a rotating roster alongside existing casual staff
• Communicate openly by exchanging information and actively listening to all stakeholders

Application / Training Timeline

Applicants must be able to commit to the following during the paid training process.

• Approximately 10 one-hour sessions with a trainer during February and March, both online and at venue.

Online training content will need to be completed in preparation for the one-on-one sessions, this time is unpaid.

Aligning potential applicants with the most appropriate role requires a time commitment. Please ensure you can accommodate the above estimated timeline and requirements before applying.
