Basketball NT is seeking an experienced and motivated Competition Manager to lead the delivery of the basketball competition in Darwin.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing competition structures, coordinating referees and technical officials, and overseeing courtside supervisors to ensure competitions are delivered professionally, safely, and consistently.

About the Role

You will:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Darwin basketball competition
• Lead and support referees, technical officials, and courtside supervisors
• Use systems such as PlayHQ and referee management platforms to deliver efficient operations
• Work closely with clubs and stakeholders to enhance participant experience

About You

You will bring:

• Experience managing sporting competitions (basketball preferred)
• Strong leadership and people-management capability
• Confidence working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Experience with PlayHQ and referee management systems is highly regarded.
