Description

The Softball NSW Recruitment and Retention Officer (RRO) is responsible for creating and delivering Softball programs to grow participation and inspire the next generation of Softball players to love the sport. 

The RRO will collaborate with the Softball community to identify and implement Softball growth opportunities to increase new member registrations and improving player retention across all age groups and specific Associations.

RROs are focused on driving passion amongst current and potential Softball participants to deliver a key Softball NSW strategic objective to grow participation and member registrations in NSW.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  1. Align Schools programs and local Clubs/Associations to create a link between participation programs and player registrations.
  2. Coordinate marketing and communications opportunities to promote activities to recruit 6–14-year-old participants to start and/or continue their amazing Softball experience.
  3. Create new and engaging Softball Activations to be rolled out at Schools, Clubs and Associations.
  4. Develop, communicate and deliver agreed recruitment plans with Associations enlisting and aligning Association support to ensure program success and linkage.
  5. Collect and collate data to understand and improve the Softball participant experience.
