The Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) is where the city meets the country - nine days of food, fun, and celebration attracting more than 400,000 visitors each year. Behind the scenes, it takes a dedicated team to deliver an experience that showcases the best of Queensland’s food, agriculture, and entertainment.

We’re looking for a Senior Exhibitor Planner to take the lead on exhibitor strategy and operations for this iconic event. This is your opportunity to shape how hundreds of exhibitors, showbags, rides, and games come together to create the magic of the Ekka.

This is a Permanent Full-Time role based at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

What You’ll Do

• Lead exhibitor strategy, leasing plans, and revenue performance across food, commercial, rides, and games.
• Build and manage relationships with exhibitors, ensuring every partnership adds value to the visitor experience.
• Deliver site layouts, leasing allocations, and compliance across all exhibitor precincts.
• Oversee bump-in and bump-out logistics, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Mentor and support a small leasing team through planning and event delivery.

What You’ll Bring

• 2 - 3 year's experience in event sales, leasing, or exhibitions (hospitality or recreation sector ideal).
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with contracts, budgets, and risk/compliance documentation.
• A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a high energy event environment.
• Knowledge of exhibitor strategies, traffic flow, and event design is a bonus.
