Description

Physiotherapist — Game Time Performance x South Brisbane Wildcats (Full-Time)

Location: Morningside, Brisbane

Start Date: Mid-January 2026

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 (inclusive of super) + 4-weekly commission bonuses

About the Role

Game Time Performance is Brisbane’s home of athlete rehab and performance. We’re looking for a passionate, proactive, and team-driven Physiotherapist to join our growing team and take on an exciting dual role:

  • Clinic-based: treating a varied caseload within our high-performance facility, with roughly 50% of clients being athletes (and rising).
  • Field-based: serving as Head Physiotherapist for the South Brisbane Wildcats senior netball teams — leading their rehab, return-to-play, and game day management throughout the season.

This is a rare opportunity to combine clinical excellence, athlete performance, and team leadership under one roof.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Manage a diverse caseload of athletes and active clients — from acute injuries to late-stage performance rehab.
  • Coach 1:1 and semi-private rehab sessions in our fully equipped high-performance gym.
  • Utilise a complete VALD performance testing library onsite.
  • Lead the rehab and injury management for the South Brisbane Wildcats senior netball teams.
  • Attend the South Brisbane Wildcats trainings (Tuesdays from Feb) and games (May-September)
  • Communicate and collaborate with coaches, S&C staff, and other allied health professionals.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and athlete communication.
  • Contribute to Game Time’s athlete education, testing, and performance programs.
  • Participate in team PD sessions, workshops, content creation and mentoring.?

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy (AHPRA registered).
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in private practice and sport.
  • ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach certification (or willingness to complete).
  • Proven experience working in a team-based environment — ideally with athletes or sporting teams.
  • Confidence and competence coaching in a gym setting.
  • A proactive, reliable, and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • MUST HAVE WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA

What You’ll Get

  • $90K–$120K inclusive of super (commensurate with experience).
  • 4 day work-week outside of netball season.
  • 4-weekly performance-based commission bonuses.
  • 4-month structured onboarding and mentorship directly from Director Aaron Turnbull.
  • Weekly internal PD and career progression pathways within a fast-growing athlete rehab facility.
  • Access to a state-of-the-art gym and rehab environment designed specifically for athletes.
  • Hands-on experience leading an elite netball program (Wildcats).
  • Supportive, ambitious, and athlete-focused team culture.
