As an Athletic Physiotherapist, you’ll work closely with our high-performance rehabilitation team to deliver outstanding care and support athletes on their journey back to sport.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this flexible, part-time and hands-on role, you’ll assist in the assessment, treatment, and progression of athletes recovering from injury, while also providing rehab coaching support on the gym floor under the guidance of the Head of Athletic Rehabilitation.
This role is perfect for a new graduate or a physiotherapist seeking part-time hours who wants to grow in a supportive environment that values learning, teamwork, flexibility, and strong communication. You’ll be guided through our rehab systems and provided ongoing mentorship to help you develop toward senior-level capability over time.
Must be AHPRA registered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with athlete screening, assessments, and handover reports
- Conduct follow-up rehab consults and support athletes through their programs
- Maintain accurate written and filmed medical records in our secure system
- Contribute to the development and progression of rehab programs
- Help define exit criteria for post-surgical athletes and support their transition into performance training
- Conduct Return to Run (RTR) and Return to Contact (RTC) sessions on the field
- Build strong relationships with athletes, parents, coaches and club networks
- Participate in projects, education sessions and professional development opportunities
- Generate referrals from team sport relationships to support the growth of the rehab program.
