The position
Loreto Toorak has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Gymnastics Coach to join our school. The Loreto Toorak Gymnastics Club caters for all levels and follows the Gymnastics Australia principles of fun, fitness, and friendship. This role is offered as casual position commencing Term 1, 2026.
Coaching shifts are available during school hours and in the afternoons on Monday to Thursday commencing at 3:30pm. Further shifts may be offered subject to availability. Rate of pay is $38 per hour.
Programs include:
- Recreational Gymnastics for Prep - Year 7 students
- Competitive Squads (Gymstar)
- Aerobic Gymnastics - AER (Recreation and Competitive Levels 1 - 10)
- InterSchool Gymnastics and AeroSchools Competitions
- In school curriculum classes for Gymnastics, Aerobics and Cheerleading.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced Gymnastics Coach having performed a similar role ideally in a school setting or similar with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Working with Children’s Check (Employee), current Level 2 First Aid and CPR certification, Gymnastics Australia - Intermediate Coaching Accreditation and/or Aerobics Intermediate Coaching Accreditation are required. Experience coaching in the Gymstar program preferrable but not essential. Gymstar judging qualification highly advantageous.
