Melbourne City FC is seeking passionate, professional, and skilled staff to join our Boys Academy at Casey Fields, as part of our commitment to developing elite young footballers in a world-class environment.

We are now recruiting for two key part time fixed term positions for the 2025 season.

1. Youth Development Phase (YDP) Head Coach - U14

Lead the development and performance of our U14 Boys team in the Junior Boys NPL (JBNPL) competition. This role is central to delivering Melbourne City’s Football Methodology and creating a positive, challenging learning environment for emerging players.

Key Focus:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with the CFG Football Methodology.
  • Drive the technical, tactical, and personal growth of each player.
  • Collaborate with the Performance, Medical, and Analysis teams to manage training loads and player wellbeing.
  • Use Hudl and Veo to deliver regular video analysis feedback to players.
  • Represent the Club in youth scouting, community, and Academy initiatives.
  • There is also an opportunity to increase these hours working our City Football Schools program.

2. Youth Development Phase (YDP) Sports Scientist

Support the physical development and performance of Academy players through best-practice sports science and strength & conditioning.   Work alongside coaches and medical staff to ensure each player trains, competes, and recovers optimally.

Key Focus:

  • Deliver warm-ups, on-pitch conditioning, and gym-based strength programs.
  • Support performance monitoring and maintain accurate player data.
  • Collaborate on training periodisation and player rehabilitation programs.
  • Contribute to an integrated, multidisciplinary performance team.
