The Netball Competitions Manager is responsible for the operation of netball competitions including providing netball services, administrative support and guidance to Member Clubs. The role requires a willingness to establish and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with Member Clubs and other stakeholders. Reporting to the General Manager of Netball Operations, this role has two key focus areas:
To efficiently run netball competitions for the League;
To work with all stakeholders to deliver desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all requirements in Game Day and Netball Connect – registrations/ transfers/ club education.
Prepare fixtures for all Summer and Winter senior and junior Netball competitions.
Grading and Re-grading for both Winter and Sumer competitions.
Attending netball matches on Wednesday and Friday evenings during the season.
Assist with senior and Junior representative Netball programs.
Complaints and incident management.
Other duties as required.
About You:
Tertiary qualification in business, sports management, or relevant field.
Demonstrated strategy, analysis, and leadership skills.
Previous exposure to community netball.
Highly developed verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Developed IT skills.
Proven ability to show initiative, plan, set priorities and manage change.
A preparedness to work extended hours including after-hours meetings and weekends during the Summer and Winter Netball seasons
