Team: QSL Men’s or Women’s Program Employment Type: Contract Start Date: Pre-season planning begins mid-November 2025 (negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the QSL program including planning, training, game preparation, and performance review.
Oversee the QSL Youth League program in collaboration with the Youth League Head Coach including team selections, training planning and performance review.
Build a strong team culture focused on development, accountability, and competitiveness.
Work closely with TBA’s leadership and support staff on recruitment, player development, and logistics.
Provide strategic and technical leadership during training and game days.
Mentor assistant coaches and collaborate with junior development programs as appropriate.
Requirements:
Proven coaching experience at the senior representative, state league, or equivalent level.
Association Coach or higher.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to attract and develop high-level talent.
Commitment to team-first values, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or ability to obtain.
Desirable:
Previous QSL, NBL1, or equivalent high-performance coaching experience.
Knowledge of Basketball Queensland's competition structure and athlete pathways.
Ability to collaborate with TBA’s junior program for long-term athlete development.
