Base Fee: $12,000 per annum, paid quarterly
Travel Allowance: Daily fee when travelling with national teams (all flights and accommodation arranged and paid by Softball Australia)

We're now looking for a Lead Physiotherapist to support our elite athletes and national squads in achieving peak performance. You’ll bring clinical expertise, innovation and collaboration to our High-Performance program, ensuring athletes stay healthy, strong and ready to perform at their best on the world stage.
The Role (What You’ll Be Doing):
As Lead Physiotherapist, you'll manage and deliver world-class physiotherapy services across our High-Performance programs. This role focuses on injury prevention, management and performance optimisation for national squad members and athlete scholars.
You’ll lead the coordination of physiotherapy services, provide hands-on support at camps and competitions, and work closely with athletes, coaches and performance staff to maximise athlete health, availability and performance outcomes.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy qualification
- Titled APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist
- Current AHPRA registration and First Aid/CPR certification
- Current Working with Children or Vulnerable People Check
- At least 5 years’ experience in high-performance sport
- Proven ability to manage injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programs
- Strong understanding of athlete load management and integrated healthcare models
- Experience using the Athlete Management System (AMS) platform
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with coaches and performance teams
