  • Promote mental health awareness, inclusion and psychological safety across the HP environment.
  • Contribute to program planning, reporting and ongoing improvement of our wellbeing initiatives.

You’ll work closely with our HP staff, athletes and coaches - plus external partners like AIS, ASC, and US College programs - to make sure wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword, but a lived reality.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for athlete development.
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) and current First Aid/CPR.
  • Experience working with young people

Personal Attributes

  • Empathetic and approachable - someone athletes can trust and open up to.

  • Collaborative by nature - thrives in a multi-disciplinary environment that includes coaches, sport science and admin teams.
  • Organised and reliable - able to juggle competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proactive problem-solver - with the initiative to identify issues early and offer practical, athlete-centred solutions.
  • Culturally aware and inclusive - values diversity and creating safe spaces for all participants.
  • Positive and resilient - able to keep perspective under pressure and bringing calm to high-stakes environments.
  • Strong communicator - both in person and in writing - clear, compassionate and professional.
