We are currently seeking an enthusiastic media intern to support all communications and digital marketing including social media management, content reporting, website development and maintenance for the 2026 season.
You’ll gain valuable experience creating digital content, managing social media, writing match reports, and promoting one of Australia’s most historic community football clubs. A great opportunity to build your portfolio and connect with the sporting industry.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter) and be confident in creating engaging content. Experience with graphic design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva, along with basic video editing skills, will be highly valued. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, and a proactive, enthusiastic approach are essential. A background or interest in digital media, marketing, and the football industry will give applicants an added advantage.
Successful applicant will be working closely with the President, Secretary and Social Media Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Facebook, Instagram and Twitter platforms
- Record, edit and generate engaging video content
- Website development and maintenance
- Producing weekly newsletter
- Capture photos during training and games
- Post-game reports
- Supporting social committee with coordination of events
- Assist with game day activities
- Update and maintenance of member database
