Are you a qualified physiotherapist ready to elevate human performance in one of Australia’s most high performance operational environments?

Headquarters Air Command (HQAC) is seeking a dynamic professional to join the A9 Human Performance & Safety (HPS) team. This is not your average clinic role – you will be embedded within the Air Force’s Human Performance Optimisation (HPO) work stream, delivering proactive, evidence-based programs that keep our personnel mission-ready and injury-resilient.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver targeted physiotherapy interventions to reduce injury risk and enhance availability
• Apply performance monitoring, load management, and functional screening in high-stakes settings
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including PTIs, medical officers, and Defence health staff
• Travel to operational bases and remote field sites to deliver services where they are needed most
• Contribute to injury prevention strategy, data reporting, and inter-agency communication

What You Will Bring

• Physiotherapy degree (or Exercise/Sport Science + postgrad Physio)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in occupational or sports performance environments
• AHPRA registration and Federal Police Check
• Bonus points for APA titling in sports, musculoskeletal, pain or occupational health
