About the Brisbane Bullets:

The Brisbane Bullets are one of ten basketball clubs that form the National Basketball League (NBL). Based in Queensland, the Bullets are Brisbane's oldest professional sporting Club, with a proud history dating back to 1979.

Our mission is to inspire and nurture future generations of basketball fans by embracing the Queensland basketball community and becoming the state's leading Club. The NBL is one of the world's premier basketball leagues, home to elite athletes and experiencing strong global growth.

The Brisbane Bullets are currently recruiting for an Intern Coach to assist the team throughout the upcoming 2025-26 NBL season! The candidates will get the opportunity to learn and develop their skills as a coach.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting voluntary position with the successful candidate(s) working closely with the Coaching Staff to:

  • The successful candidate will receive on the job and online training in HUDL Sportscode (video analysis software) which is used throughout all major sporting codes around the world.
  • Assisting in the editing process for games/practice review.
  • Assist on game day to live code the game as required.
  • Assist with any other general responsibilities aligned with the Coaching staff. i.e. player workouts, scouting & analytic reports.

Essential Criteria

  • Working with children check
  • Familiarity with Apple products (Laptops and Tablets)

Desirable Criteria

  • Have completed or currently completing a university degree/course
  • Current Drivers license

Availability

Weekly hours and internship length can be negotiated to suit your study commitments and/or your work requirements. Please outline your availability for the following days and times between September 2025 to the end of March 2026.

  • Monday to Fridays: 10:00-2:00pm
  • General weekend availability (weekend games)
  • General weeknight availability (weeknight games)
