We are seeking an experienced Swimming Coach to help shape the next generation of swimmers through a program that values both participation and performance. The successful candidate will thrive in a student focused environment and work alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
As a Swimming Coach with LN Swimming, you will work closely with the Assistant Head Swim Coach and Head of Aquatics (Head Swim Coach) to develop talent, inspire athletes to reach their potential, and contribute to the long term success of our swimming program.
This role is permanent part-time commencing in October 2025.
The Role
- Collaborate with swimming coaches to design and implement top-notch training programs for swimmers of all skill levels.
- Demonstrate exceptional supervision abilities for the LN Swimming program and/or Aquatic Centre.
- Participate in various carnivals and events as needed.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for coaching, with a focus on nurturing, enhancing, and maximising the potential of all swimmers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Experience working in an aquatic environment
- Hold qualifications in either Competitive Strokes Certification or Foundation Coach (mandatory).
- Development Coach (desirable)
- Senior First Aid certificate and CPR certificate (mandatory)
- Pool Lifeguard Certification (Desirable)
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Flexible availability
- Before and after school-hour shifts
- Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
- Ability to work well independently, be self motivated and take initative
