In 2025, PLC celebrated the inaugural opening of our new sports, aquatic and fitness centre - the Joan Montgomery Centre - adding to the excitement and potential within this role.
The Gymnastics Coordinator is a fixed-term, part-time (0.6 FTE) position until December 2026, with potential for extension. The role will be responsible for the vision, development, start-up, delivery, and advancement of the PLC gymnastics program.
You will work closely with our Director of Sport and Head of Senior School to deliver a quality gymnastics program. Bringing a specialised skill set, you will provide strategic leadership and operational management for all gymnastics activities across the school, encompassing program planning, staff supervision, competition preparation, risk management, and community engagement.
About You
With an Advanced Coach Gymnastics Accreditation, you will have experience in establishing and starting up a new gymnastics program in either a school or club-based setting.
You have demonstrated expertise in gymnastics coaching and program leadership, including the preparation of competitive or high-performance pathway athletes.
Your experience, knowledge, and abilities will help you lead, mentor, and manage a passionate team to achieve amazing outcomes.
