About the role
Corporate Health Management is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team at Sanctuary Lakes Recreation Club in Point Cook, Victoria. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming lessons to children and adults in a fun, safe and engaging environment. This is a casual role with flexible scheduling to fit your availability.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering structured swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities
- Assessing students' swimming skills and developing personalised lesson plans to help them improve
- Ensuring the safety of students in the water at all times
- Providing encouragement and motivation to help students progress and achieve their goals
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Assisting with the setup and pack-up of the swimming pool area
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years' experience as a qualified Swim Instructor
- Relevant swimming instruction qualifications (Austswim, SwimAustralia)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students of all ages
- Excellent swimming ability and knowledge of swimming techniques
- Ability to work well in a team and follow safety protocols
- Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
