Driven to make a difference? Volleyball NSW is seeking motivated and committed individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors to support and shape the future of our organisation for our members. 

We encourage highly skilled, emotionally self-aware applicants with finance and accounting experience to ensure the Board continues to effectively oversee and add value to the finance and accounting function led by the Executive Team. We would also love to hear from applicants with expertise in HR, risk and legal. 

We are passionate about inclusion and diversity. Our board composition is an important reflection of our diverse community and crucial for our continued growth and leadership of the sport. In recent months, our Board composition has shifted, and in addition to seeking specific skills we seek contributors from diverse backgrounds to help balance our current composition of 5 males and 2 females. We encourage individuals who identify as female or non-binary to express interest.

You don’t need to know how to dig, set or spike. No prior experience or connection with the sport of Volleyball is required.

Membership of the Board requires contribution at 6-10 online meetings per year, including approximately four face-to-face meetings and biannual stakeholder meetings each year in Sydney and some project-based support of the organisation.
