Details:
The Coach is the leader of the team and should always display appropriate behaviour. Their role is to help players develop skills and positive attitudes to physical activity and sport generally. Coaches/Managers should have; effective communication; a sound organiser; working knowledge of the rules and skills of the game; ensure all players gain benefit from involvement; hold appropriate qualifications; understanding of modern coaching and teaching principles. No abuse of an official (referee, club official etc) is accepted at any level by the club. Volunteers must ensure the club is run according to all relevant rules and policies. Volunteers must always act in the best interest of the entire club and its members. Volunteers are to always abide by the NRL & QRL Code of Conduct. I will make myself aware of the QRL ‘Social Media’ Policy and ensure the team always abides by this. If I am selected as a coach/manager, I will abide by the Ivanhoe’s Rugby League Club ‘Code of Conduct’; FNQRL rules and regulations; QRL rules and regulations. I acknowledge that I will be responsible for fulfilling the following commitments: - Attending ALL coaches’ meetings and team sessions organised by the club, organising team’s equipment on home and away games.
