  • Delivering innovative content strategy and initiatives, including match-day social media activity and written content, that captures and grows fan engagement.
  • Developing industry leading content and campaigns with commercial, media and broadcast partners.
  • Fostering inclusive and positive online communities through active moderation of platforms.
  • Understanding and leveraging industry trends, our athletes and influencers to expand reach and audience growth
  • Tracking, analysing, and reporting on content performance and key metrics.
  • Maintaining our content library and editorial calendar.
  • Supporting other duties as required by the role and Netball Victoria

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification and/or professional experience in Communications, Journalism, Media or related fields.
  • In depth understanding of social media best practice and a strong awareness of, and engagement with, industry trends
  • Proven ability to write engaging copy and feature stories for digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and editing tools (e.g. CapCut).

  • A passion for sport and its power from grassroots through to the elite.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
