ABOUT THE ROLE
The Aquatic Program Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Learn to Swim (LTS) Program and the Customer Service Manager in delivering a high-quality commercial LTS program.
This role involves implementing the program, assisting with the training and development of aquatic staff, and ensuring service standards are consistently met. Additional responsibilities also include supporting the supervision of the Aquatic Centre, contributing to customer service operations, and School swimming program administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the LTS Program and Customer Service Manager in the delivery of Aquatic Centre services.
- Oversee daily program activities.
- Provide a direct interface with customers (parents & caregivers).
- Continuously enhance program standards, customer service practices and retention strategies.
- Support the Aquatic Centre Manager and Director of Swimming with the day-to-day administration and staffing of School Swimming
- Oversee daily operations and administrative functions of the Aquatic Centre when on shift in a Pool Attendant capacity.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across all aquatic areas and amenities.
- Foster positive relationships with students and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience working in an aquatic environment
- Current Austswim or Swim Australia certification
- Lifeguard qualification
- Pool Operations or Pool Supervisor qualification
- Austswim Assessor
- CPR & First Aid
- Experience in school swimming programs including delivery of training
- Experience managing teams preferably within a LTS or swim school environment
- Competitive Strokes Certification
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
