The Northern Districts Gymnastic Club (NDGC) is one of the largest gymnastics clubs in Western Australia and has a proud history spanning over 50 years. NDGC caters to 1200-1400 members annually and offers the following gymnastics programs to members:

The Role
NDGC is looking for motivated, caring and hardworking Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Coaches that will thrive working in a team environment across our State and National Levels streams.
Coaches will be responsible for coaching in our WAG competitive program (up to level 7 ALP), providing instruction to members in accordance with club and industry policies, procedures, programs and guidelines. The Coaches are also required to:
Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment that places the health, welfare and wellbeing of children above all else
Prepare annual, term and weekly coaching plans
Prepare, implement and evaluate quality and challenging lessons to best prepare athletes for attendance at competitions
Adhere to the NDGC Child Safety Policy Framework and Gymnastics Australia Child Safeguarding Policies
Build positive relationships with gymnasts and their parents/guardians
Work up to five days per week, including weekend work
Essential skills and experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and a positive outlook
Experience coaching within a competitive WAG Program
Proven ability to work autonomously without supervision and collaboratively within a team
Strong focus on athlete wellbeing and empowerment

A casual/part-time position with a minimum 7-10 hours per week coaching in the State and National Levels streams within our WAG Competitive Program.
The potential for additional hours coaching within our Recreational or Kindergym program if desired

The positions are available from November and will require both weekday and weekend work. The positions will also involve coaching athletes at competitions.
