In 2025, over 6,000 student-athletes from 42 universities will compete in 32 sports at the UniSport Nationals on the Gold Coast, Queensland. ACU will proudly field a Women’s Water Polo team, and we’re seeking an experienced coach to lead our student-athletes to success.

About the role

The Coach will oversee player selection, training, and game-day performance, fostering a strong team culture and representing ACU with pride.

Remuneration

  • $1,500 for attendance at all fixtured games throughout the week and a training session on Sunday, September 27th
  • Accommodation on the Gold Coast is included 

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide Water Polo coaching services for ACU’s Women’s Water Polo team.
  • Lead the team at the UniSport Nationals competition on the Gold Coast from Sunday, 27 September to Friday, 3 October 2025.
  • Attend ACU Team events including the pre-departure meeting and team dinners (details provided by ACU Sport).
  • Deliver Sunday training session and provide tactical and technical guidance throughout the week
  • Uphold ACU’s Code of Conduct and promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
