We are seeking casual coaches to deliver our community hockey programs. You do not need to be experienced or have any great hockey knowledge - just be fun, energetic, enthusiastic, and be willing to learn. Roles are available across all regions of NSW, but we are especially interested in hearing from people available to coach in the Western Sydney region.

The primary objective of the role is to deliver safe, fun and inclusive hockey sessions. To abide by government regulations, you will require a valid and verified WWCC that is for paid work.
At Hockey NSW we always adhere to the Safe Hockey Framework and other policies and procedures and behave in a way to prioritise the safety of children and young people at all times.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- A valid and verified WWCC for paid work
- A valid HockeyEd coaching accreditation (or willing to achieve)
- Knowledge of how to deliver fun, safe and inclusive hockey sessions to kids aged 4 to 18
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements
As you are representing Hockey NSW as a Community coach, you will be required to display characteristics such as reliability, punctuality and courtesy, and be self-motivated and well presented at all times.
