Nepean Aquatic Centre has a dynamic and growing squad program committed to excellence in competitive swimming. Our mission is to inspire and develop swimmers of all ages and levels, from grassroots to elite, in a supportive and professional environment.

We are currently seeking a passionate Swim Squad Coach to join our team, working alongside our Head Coach to lead our junior and senior squads to success.

As a Swim Squad Coach at Nepean Aquatic Centre, you will be part of dynamic team that delivers structured swim squad sessions to athletes within our program.  We have opportunities available across multiple days within a program running 50 weeks per year, with athletes competing up to an Australian National level.

We are looking for... 

• SWIM Australia Teacher of Competitive Swimming or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes certification
• Ability to adapt coaching to the individual needs of the swimmer and/or group's capability.
• Demonstrated experience in managing squad swimmers across varying age groups/skill level.
• Professional approach to work - reliable and punctual for all coaching sessions and committed to the best outcomes for all athletes within our program.
• Strong communication and organis ational skills. 
• Willingness to work split shifts and weekends in line with squad training schedules and competitive meets.
• A passion for swimmer development and team success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, structured training sessions for squad swimmers.
• Develop and implement training programs in line with athlete goals and seasonal plans.
• Provide technical feedback and stroke correction.
• Monitor swimmer progress and adjust training as needed.
• Collaborate with head coach, assistant coaches, and club committee.
