About the role
Your focus will be on promoting the growth and sustainability of cricket within clubs, competitions and schools across the Gold Coast, with a strong focus on female cricket. You will do this by developing and maintaining a community network that is excited about driving participation across all levels of the Australian cricket pathway as well as driving new offerings to new players.
This role will require you to develop and inspire a network of volunteers and casual employees, who will support cricket within the region.
About you
It's truly great to work for QC, and we're sure you'll love it here too. We're focused on elevating our team's capability and committed to supporting your growth and development in the time you spend with us. You might be an ideal fit if you:
- Are a skilled, energetic communicator with a natural ability to connect with diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Share our vision of being Queensland's leading sport, and a passionate advocate for promoting a diverse and inclusive space for all to participate in the game
- Bring excellent administration, self-organisation and digital literacy skills
- Can travel across the Gold Coast region
- Hold, or ability to obtain a working with children check (QLD Blue Card).
Continuous learning is encouraged and celebrated at QC; formal tertiary qualifications (or working towards) are beneficial, but not a barrier to success. Similarly, an understanding of, or experience in the education and/or sports (ideally cricket-specific!) industry is helpful in this role.
What's in it for you?
Build your skills in a high-growth professional environment. Work in a dynamic, flexible and progressive workplace that is committed to giving you the opportunities you deserve. Enjoy the fun of professional sport and the rewards of contributing to your community. Take advantage of the employee benefits on offer, including learning and development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and the odd ticket to the cricket (because too much cricket is never enough).
