Description

The Member Support Officer / MPIO will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of Hunter Valley Football Association. This position is about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes by helping our member clubs with registrations, keeping communication flowing, being the point of contact for any member protection enquiries, and assisting with general admin tasks around the office.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, and organised - the kind of person who clubs and members can count on to get the right info at the right time. You’re comfortable with technology, able to juggle a few different tasks at once, and happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

This role would suit someone with a background in football who’s looking to start their career in the sport - someone eager to learn, contribute, and grow while supporting the game at the grassroots level.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Has good admin and computer skills (email, MS Office, etc.)
  • Can manage multiple tasks and stay organised
  • Uses tools like Canva or is keen to learn
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality
  • Is approachable and good with people

It’d Be Great (But Not Essential) If You Have:

  • Experience working in the football environment
  • Familiarity with PlayFootball or Squadi
  • Completed MPIO training or willing to do so
  • A basic understanding of social media and has confidence posting updates

The part-time position (25 hours) is based at the Hunter Valley Football Office based in Kurri Kurri, NSW.

Working in a small, highly focused team environment, this role will suit a process driven, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and activities at once whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

This is an exciting early career opportunity stepping into a diverse “hands-on” role within a dynamic and growing Regional Sporting Organisation. Make a positive impact on the ongoing success of football across the Hunter Valley and apply now.
