MLC School is looking for a passionate and experienced Rhythmic Gymnastics Coordinator to join the Sports Department on a part-time, permanent basis.

About the position
The position of Rhythmic Gymnastics Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of gymnastic coaching activities and program administration at MLC School. The position holder ensures MLC School policies and procedures are applied effectively through all training sessions and competition situations and that each of these sessions is underpinned by the School’s key values of sport.
In this role, you would be responsible for delivering technically appropriate sessions; preparing and delivering choreography and music selection/cutting as required; participating in coaching as well and delivery of programs; preparing and delivering club-based communication and documentation; and submitting recommendations for awards.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability and commitment to:
- delivering technically appropriate sessions that run on time and involve all participants,
- coordinating the gym floor to ensure all classes run appropriately,
- always demonstrating a positive role model and supporting participants to achieve outstanding results,
- delivering service excellence to parents and carers by proactively engaging with and responding promptly and courteously to enquiries and requests for information,
- contributing to the ‘whole girl’ learning experience through your contribution to co-curricular and clubs programs,
- ongoing personal and professional development,
- act as a mentor to junior staff, and
- involvement and coordination of club-based events.
To be successful in your application you should have:
- 5 years' coaching experience with at least 2 years working beyond the key accountabilities of a Junior Coach.
- a Current Advanced or Higher Rhythmic Coaching Accreditation.
- Intermediate or higher Judging Accreditation.
- Current First Aid Qualification and a Current Working with Children's Check.
- Experience working within a school or educational environment (desirable).
