Are you passionate about high performance sport and ready to make your mark in elite cricket coaching? Cricket Victoria is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bowling Coach to join our Women’s Senior Program and the Melbourne Renegades WBBL team.
The Role:
In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the State Senior Head Coach and Melbourne Renegades Head Coach to lead bowling programs, develop and implement high-performance strategies, and support elite athletes on their journey to national and international cricket. You’ll also play a key role in nurturing emerging talent and contributing to the future of women’s cricket in Victoria and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of bowling programs for the Victorian Women’s Squad
- Deliver targeted coaching and skill development for pace and spin bowlers
- Provide in-depth analysis, individual coaching, and performance reviews
- Assist with WBBL preparation, including skills planning and opposition analysis
- Support emerging players through the Female EPP, helping them transition into WNCL and WBBL
- Collaborate with key staff across performance, talent pathways, and player development
About You:
- Minimum 3 years’ coaching experience at elite or high-performance level
- Level 3 Cricket Australia Coaching Accreditation (or international equivalent)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience giving feedback and working collaboratively
- A clear understanding of cricket performance pathways and national competition
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and build rapport with players and support staff
- Current Victorian Employee Working With Children Check
- Experience in Pace Bowling will be highly regarded
- First-class cricket playing experience is desirable but not essential.
