Water Polo NSW, the governing state body for the sport of water polo, is responsible for the governance, events, competitions, sport development, rules, club services and communications, and services up to 50-member clubs/associations and over 7,000 participants across the state.
Reporting to the Business and Participation Manager, the Member Communications and Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in planning, organising, and executing various services and programs to support the strategic plan. This position focuses on providing exceptional member services across all platforms to engage with the Water Polo NSW community The coordinator is essential in creating a positive experience for participants, families, coaches, officials, volunteers, spectators, stakeholders, and fans.
Utilising strong operational and administrative skills, the coordinator assists in creating, and delivering the organisation’s communications plan and the management of the Water Polo NSW office administration. The coordinator oversees the development of the Annual Report and the successful coordination and execution of the Annual General Meeting.
Key to success in this role is building strong networks and relationships with the Water Polo NSW community, partners, and sponsors.
To be considered for this role you will be a personable go-getter, ideally with experience in customer service, office administration and marketing and communications either from within the sport/recreation sector or in a busy corporate environment. You must be comfortable conversing with a various range of stakeholders whilst providing outstanding service to all. A tenacious attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to problem-solve and prioritise multiple and varied tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
