Description

The UWA Torpedoes compete in the Australian Water Polo League (AWL) from January to April, representing the highest level of competition in the nation.

The UWA Torpedoes AWL program is overseen by a head coach who facilitates all training schedules, player management, player development and full oversight of the team performance.

The AWL program is deemed to be a 25-week program commencing in October and finishing early April. The position requires a full commitment to morning training, afternoon training and weekend competition. The role is not hourly based, or time based it is program based.

Travel is a key component to the position along with all relevant preparation outside of physical training sessions.

The remuneration is tailored to the individual’s skills, abilities, experience and will be a lump sum amount paid over a 6-month period.
