About the Role
This role leads the design and delivery of TFA’s national participation programs—including All Abilities, Sporting Schools, school engagement initiatives, and new program innovation. You'll work closely with state offices, affiliates, and community organisations to ensure participation offerings are scalable, inclusive, and aligned with TFA’s national strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive national strategy and growth across all participation programs
- Lead the development of All Abilities and culturally inclusive offerings
- Oversee school engagement initiatives including Teacher Ambassadors & Endorsement Framework
- Innovate and pilot new social, school or community-based participation products
- Support affiliates with scalable tools, training, and delivery frameworks
- Measure impact through data and KPIs, and contribute to strategic planning
- Collaborate with Marketing and Digital to deliver program campaigns and resources
- Assist with grant applications, education partnerships, and community funding
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in participation, education, or sport program management (preferably in a federated model)
- Demonstrated success in leading inclusive programs and school-based initiatives
- Strong understanding of grassroots sport delivery, innovation, and scaling models
- Experience engaging CALD and All Abilities communities
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience developing toolkits, frameworks, and scalable delivery models
- Strategic mindset and ability to translate insights into impactful action
- Knowledge of Touch Football is a bonus - but not essential
