About the role
We're looking for a Tennis Coach to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Delivering coaching programs across schools, facilities operated by Tennis NT.
- Engaging with schools and local community groups to raise awareness of, and an interest in tennis.
- Delivering competitions and Match Play across schools and facilities in the NT.
- Actively involving all students on court and identify areas of improvement or skill development.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service across coaching programs.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Junior Development coaching qualification or equivalent, or at a Trainee level and has a desire to obtain.
- Stringing experience, or willingness to learn Stringing.
- Proven knowledge of technical and tactical coaching points through every stage if tennis: blue, red, orange, green, yellow.
- A good understanding of tennis products and brands including racquets strings and accessories.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NT.
