Melbourne Centre for Athletic Performance is a high performance facility that offers physiotherapy, remedial massage, myotherapy, podiatry as well strength and conditioning. Our mission is to provide high quality services to the local community however specialising in those training at the elite competitive level as well as young and upcoming athletes.
Reporting to our Head Strength and Conditioning coach you will be involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of our strength and conditioning programs. The successful candidate will need to not only be highly skilled but self-motivated and be able to work effectively within a team environment to deliver high quality training programs to athletes from a multitude of different sports.

Role:
Design and implement strength and power programs for elite and emerging athletes
Facilitate outdoor conditioning sessions as required
Assist in the implementation of rehabilitation programs whilst working closely with our physiotherapists, podiatrists and surgeons.
Criteria:
Bachelor Exercise Science or similar degree. Masters in Strength and Conditioning desirable.
Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
Qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach
Minimum 2 years previous experience conditioning both emerging and elite athletes/teams.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills & the ability to build strong relationships.
Hours Required:
Monday - Thursday: 3:30 - 7:30pm
Saturday: 8 - 11am
Combination of days and hours also available and open for discussion.
