Ringwood Swimming Club (RSC) is seeking a vibrant coach to lead and develop our age group program, with a strong focus on nurturing our young talent for Age Nationals in 2026.

Our ready-made national squad, Target 26 is eager for their first Age Nationals campaign- all they need is the right leader to realise their full potential.
With top-tier facilities at Aquanation and Aquahub, a supportive committee, and a 1:16 coaching ratio, this role is perfect for a coach passionate about our talent and their long-term development. RSC is committed to helping our swimmers reach their full potential, both in and out of the pool.
RSC is a family-friendly, inclusive, focused, and positive club looking to build into one of the top 10 clubs in Victoria. We currently have approximately 220 members.
RSC is based out of Aquanation, Ringwood and operates out of the following pools in conjunction with Maroondah Leisure;
- Aquanation, Ringwood: 10 lane 50m indoor pool
- Aquahub, Croydon: 8 lane 25m indoor pool
- Croydon Memorial Pool(seasonal): 8 lane 50m outdoor pool
As Lead Coach, you will work Wayne and our other coaches, to design a program that will further develop and guide the swimmers to achieve their goals.
This is a full-time position. The weekly hours of 38 include administration, pool and dryland hours. In addition to this, there is a requirement to attend swim meets approximately twice per month, included in the salary. This position will also be required to help plan and facilitate our holiday clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, coaching sessions aligned with squad objectives
- Mentoring of our junior coaching staff
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to swimmers and families
- Assist in fostering a positive squad culture through clear communication and teamwork
- Attend swim meets and club events as required
Qualifications and experience required:
- Swim Australia Coach Accreditation (Development level or higher)
- Current Provide CPR (HLTAID009) and Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificates
- Working With Children Check (VIC, Employee)
- Minimum 2 years’ coaching experience
