About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to move from the water to the pool deck in a permanent part-time or full-time position. As an Aquatics Pathway Coach, you’ll work closely with our Centre Leads to plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging swim and squad programs.

You will:

  • Support the development of swimmers across all levels, from Learn to Swim to junior squads
  • Be a trusted presence on pool deck, connecting with families, answering questions, and offering feedback
  • Assist in coaching regular squads, helping swimmers improve technique, build confidence, and enjoy the journey
  • Play an important role in progressing swimmers through the pathway, identifying talent, and nurturing potential in an inclusive environment

What You Bring

You’re enthusiastic, caring, and ready to grow. You’ll also have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Swim Teacher
  • A current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification
  • CPR, First Aid and Working With Children Check
  • A genuine desire to help swimmers progress and perform at their best

Bonus Points For:

  • Swim Squad or Coaching qualification and experience
  • Infant & Preschool Teacher qualification

Your Commitment

We’ll support you to make great decisions and own your role. In return, we’re looking for someone who is flexible, dependable, and ready to contribute to a 7-day aquatic operation
