This year, Sydney makes history as the 7th member of the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors. The 2025 TCS Sydney Marathon will be Australia’s biggest ever running event with 35,000 people from around the globe racing through the streets of Sydney, and it wouldn’t be possible without incredible volunteers like you.
EVENT DETAILS
Event Date: Sunday 31st August 2025
Event Times: Volunteer shifts range from 4 to 10 hours, starting as early as 3:30am and finishing by 4pm.

- Start Line Roles
- Course Marshals
- Finish Line Roles
- Wayfinders and much much more!
You will be able to choose your preferred role/location. We will do our best to allocate accordingly - however, we cannot always guarantee first preferences.
Volunteers will receive an ASICs volunteer shirt & hat, snack pack, water & Certificate of Appreciation.
