Surrey Park Swimming is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Coach to lead our coaching team, inspire our swimmers, and build on our proud legacy of over 120 years as one of Victoria’s premier swim clubs.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead, manage and mentor a dedicated team of coaches across all squad levels, with a strong emphasis on continuous development and professional growth Continue to cultivate a positive, family-focused culture that supports swimmers, parents, coaches, and volunteers
- Coach our High-Performance Squad, working directly with elite-level swimmers to deliver a program aligned with state and national benchmarks
- Design and implement a strategic, performance-driven training program that supports long-term athlete development from grassroots through to high performance
- Work collaboratively with the Swim School management and club leadership to strengthen swimmer pathways
- Maintain strong connections with Swimming Victoria, Swimming Australia, and other key partners
- Be a visible, approachable, and motivating presence on pool deck and within the community
What You’ll Bring:
- Current Swimming Australia Coach Accreditation (minimum Advanced)
- At least 6 years of swim coaching experience, with 3+ years at High Performance level
- Proven success in coaching athletes to state, national and international level competitions
- A deep understanding of athlete development pathways and talent identification
- A track record of building athlete development pathways and team culture
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and upskill a coaching team across multiple levels
- Excellent communication, planning and leadership skills
- Passion for community sport, athlete wellbeing, and cultivating a high-performance environment
- Current Working With Children Check, CPR, First Aid, and Pool Lifeguard certifications
