Gymnastics Townsville is a community based not-for-profit sporting club with more than 900 members. An elected Management Committee governs the club and the Program Leaders, and Customer Service Officers perform the day-to-day duties.
Qualifications & experience
Minimum GfA Supervisor certified
GfA Advanced Accreditation desirable
Minimum 3 years’ experience in coaching Gymnastics for All programs
Demonstrated previous gymnastic sports program management experience
Demonstrated previous gymnastic curriculum and/or gymsports program development experience
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
A commitment to achieving team results with proactive sharing of information and a need to involve others where appropriate.

Tasks & responsibilities
Maximise participation in all Gymnastics for All & Pathways programs and ensure sound and regular progression of GfA program gymnasts through the Gymnastics Townsville pathway.
Maximise program outcomes for all gymnasts in the program, including establishing goals and monitoring performances.
Plan and supervise all GfA Programs delivered by Gymnastics Townsville.
Work with the Sports Management Committee (SMC) to develop, implement, and maintain the GfA program curriculum for Gymnastics Townsville.
Develop the annual plan for the GfA program to ensure safety, quality, consistency, and sound progression across GfA Programs delivered by the Club.
Ensure a copy of all GfA training programs are kept on premise and up to date.
Work with the SMC to maintain and deliver the club’s Beginner Coach Pathway, including supervision of coaches in the program.
Coach classes and be available as a replacement coach where required.
Work with parents and coaches to manage any disputes or complaints with regard to the GfA program and escalate to the Operations Manager where appropriate or where a satisfactory outcome cannot be achieved.
Provide regular reports to the SMC with regard to any issues/concerns with, or planned directions and results of, GfA programs.
Participate in weekly senior staff meetings.
