Primary Purpose
The Education Assistant supports Gymnastics Queensland’s Education Team by coordinating and delivering essential administrative tasks related to coach and judge education. This role plays a key part in servicing the needs of technical members across the state and meeting the demands of the gymnastics community.
Key Duties
- Track and process enrolments into courses, providing timely, accurate, and well-written responses to encourage participation.
- Promote upcoming courses and closing dates to increase awareness and drive enrolments within the gymnastics community.
- Manage and process technical member uploads to the Flex Learning platform, providing follow-up support to encourage completion of accreditations.
- Process pre and post course documentation, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
- Sanction in-house club workshops and allocate updating points accordingly.
- Issue Statements of Accreditation as required.
- Reconcile monthly Flex reports to maintain accurate financial and participant records
- Respond to enquiries (phone/email) with accurate and well-written information and prompt follow-up.
- Support general education administration and complete other duties as assigned by the Workforce Development Manager.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Proven administrative experience with laser-sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills - juggling multiple priorities is your super-power.
- Excellent written & verbal communication and a genuinely helpful, customer-centric approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office & Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and patience when working with evolving digital systems and processes
- (Desirable) Experience in gymnastics or another sport’s accreditation pathway.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and current driver’s licence.
