Barker College is currently seeking a Lead Junior Coach - Swimming based at our Hornsby campus. This will be a Permanent Full-Time role commencing ASAP.
As the Lead Junior Coach, you will play a vital role in coaching and developing Junior Swimmers, primarily within the Barker Junior School program. This position involves planning and delivering engaging squad training sessions, attending club nights and swim meets, and providing ongoing feedback to swimmers and parents. You will also assist with school-related swim events, mentor junior coaches, and ensure a high standard of safety and professionalism. Additionally, responsibilities include occasional lifeguard and pool attendant duties, contributing to a well-maintained and efficient aquatic environment. Success in this role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a passion for fostering young athletes’ growth.
