Running Physio Unique Opportunity
POGO Physio is known for its expertise in treating injured runners & triathletes. Across the last 10yrs POGO Physio has solidified its reputation as a clinic of excellence for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of running related injuries. Led by APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist and Author Brad Beer, POGO Physio attracts domestic and international runners seeking expert assistance.
POGO Physio has always been at the fore of the integration and translation of technology into clinical practice. POGO Physio running services include: AlterG anti-gravity treadmill services, running gait analysis, VO2 and RMR assessments, and performance testing using VALD Performance testing equipment.
As we go into the back end of 2025 POGO Physio is excited to identify a leading practitioner to assist with the set up, integration, and treatment of runners for a designated gait analysis laboratory. This practitioner must be both passionate highly competent in the provision of physiotherapy for running related injuries and conducting gait analyses for runners.

Our clinic provides services for Athletics Australia, Triathlon Australia, New Zealand High Performance (Athletics & Triathlon), British Triathlon athletes, and the Gold Coast Marathon.
Our practice mission is to help our clients get back to their physical best, complete rehabilitation, and in doing so cross their Physio Finish Line.

We are seeking the right physiotherapist to join our growing and dynamic team for this specific running related physiotherapy opportunity.
Do You Have What it Takes?
To be successful you will:
- ideally have a minimum of 5 years private practice experience
- have a demonstrable strong ability (and ideally following) in the assessment and treatment of runners
- have previously incorporated run gait analysis into your clinical practice
- be passionate and capable of producing running related content for socials/blogs/media
- ideally be working towards or already on a pathway to become a Titled APA Member.
- ideally have an area of practice (body region, injury type) or sport that you are building your own ‘personal brand’ around (that we can support you in developing)
- like to do work that matters

The Application Process
The total time to progress through the application process is on average 2 weeks. Occasionally variations may occur in the event of positions available and applicant's timelines. Our recruitment process will commence with an over the phone 15min call before proceeding to up to two formal interviews.
Requirements of the Position
This position requires excellence across the following four domains of private practice life:
- Clinical: Demonstrate best practice clinical skills and reasoning. A commitment to ongoing professional development. Proactive approach to learning* . High level of competence in treating injured runners- preferrably including gait analysis also.
- Team Contribution: Contribute to team meetings which may relate to future business direction, team training, professional development team management, team recruitment and service delivery in a meaningful way.
- Clinic Promotion: Actively and enthusiastically participate in marketing activities. Share and engage with online practice content (blog posts, INSTA posts, Facebook posts, tweets). Provide a monthly 1000 word blog post with a minimum of 5 clinical references.
- Financial: Contribute to the general growth and development of the business through a focus on great clinical outcomes and resultantly clinician billings. Each therapist is required to win work and contribute to the clinic's growth.
Applicants are required to be current members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and to hold an appropriate level of Professional Indemnity insurance.
*Evidence of a consistent Professional Development Record – showing a commitment to ongoing clinical education, must be provided.
