Football Queensland is inviting interested and enthusiastic individuals, ideally final year students studying journalism or communications or recent graduates, to apply for media internship positions at our head office in Slacks Creek.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
Drafting media releases, web articles and other forms of editorial content for the Football Queensland website
Drafting internal communications, memos and eDM content
Researching and producing feature content for the Football Queensland website, including conducting interviews with players, coaches, volunteers and referees
Assisting with Football Queensland social media content
Assisting with media operations, including updating databases, compiling media reports and coordinating media accreditation
Assisting with media opportunities including the preparation of speaking notes and talent briefs
Weekly hours and internship length can be negotiated to suit your study commitments and/or placement requirements.
