Pymble Ladies’ College is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia for girls Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding from Year 7. At Pymble, we foster a world-class educational environment with the importance of global citizenship and a worldwide perspective central to our strategic intent.

The role

We are looking to increase our casual team of Swim Coaches. We are open to coaches with varying levels of experience to supervise, mentor and train our Pymble Ladies’ College students and external swimmers.

The Swim Coaches will implement the training programs established by the Head Coach and monitor each individual swimmer to improve their technical skills, physical conditioning and overall performance. 

Shifts include mornings, afternoons and weekends. The successful candidates will genuinely enjoy working with students and bring enjoyment and energy to the pool.

You will demonstrate the following attributes and capabilities:

  • Competitive Strokes License/qualification 
  • Ability to develop and nurture swimmers of all abilities with diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters regarding participants in a respectful and confidential manner
  • Proven experience in customer service skills and complaint handling
  • Have the ability to work well in a team environment, as well work independently
  • Willingness to support the ethos and values of the College
