Gold Coast Gymnastics Club has created a new MAG Head Coach position for an experienced and passionate coach, with a proven record of developing gymnasts to international representation. This role is pivotal in the next stage of our strategic direction and the successful candidate will lead the MAG competitive program across our two venues located on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced, passionate Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Head Coach. Gold Coast Gymnastics Club is one of Queensland and Australia’s largest clubs with close to 3000 members and operates across two venues in the region with venues in Miami and Coomera.
The Club is engaging on an exciting new era and features world class facilities and equipment, technically qualified and experienced coaches and offers a rewarding and incentivised place of work.
In line with the goals of the strategic plan, the club is seeking an experienced MAG Head Coach to lead and develop the competitive program to international competitive success.
This is an opportunity for the MAG Head Coach to guide the coaching team and further expand the competitive program to international level. There is opportunity to capitalise on a record of competitive success at a state and national level, including recently being crowned the 2024 MAG Overall National Club Champion, along with a strong foundation of the club’s large recreational program.
The successful candidate will coach a squad of MAG gymnasts (approximately 25 hours/week), manage the MAG competitive coaching team and have oversight across the entire MAG program. You must have demonstrated experience in coaching MAG gymnasts to a National representative level, confidence with communicating with parents and members; program and planning skills across a wide level of competitive gymnasts; and computer systems skills.
